Today sony announced new DSC-W300($350; May 2008; first pic) 13.6 megapixel camera. It features 13.6 megapixel sensor, the camera sports a 2.7-inch LCD, 3x optical zoom, optical image stabilization and a high speed burst mode, HD component output, and an ultra hard titanium coating that is highly resistant to smudging and scratches.
The Cyber-Shot DSC-H50($400; May 2008; second pic) has a 9.1-megapizxel sensor and uses a Carl Zeiss 15x optical zoom lens. It features 3-inch tilting LCD display, ISO to 3200 and a long-distance flash. Other features improved advanced sports shooting mode which allows for shutter speeds of up to 1/4000 of a second and utilizes continuous auto-focusing; smile recognition and face detection;
Apple has released their new Apple MacBook Pro with Multi-touch($2,000-$2,800) trackpad which enables you to pinch, swipe, or rotate as you would on an iPhone. They included 3 models(15-inch:2.4GHz; $1999 / 15-inch:2.5GHz; $2499 / 17-inch:2.5GHz; $2799). They use the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors with 45nm process with 6MB of cache. Other features NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with up to 512MB; 200-250GB hard drive; 2GB memory.

This SIM Card Reader($149) can read deleted text messages. Simply place the SIM card into the USB reader, with your computer, instantly save for later or view immediately. “Save, edit and delete your phone book and short messages stored on your SIM card using the Recovery PRO software and SIM Recovery Pro Reader with your computer and standard SIM card from a cell phone which supports removable SIM cards.” Notice: many new mobiles stored sms on the internal memory, not in the sim cad. Finally, the Mitsubishi Prototype S has been officially revealed. The “S” stands for Sportback. It is powered by 2.0L turbo four producing 240 PS (236 hp) and 343 Nm (253 lb-ft) of torque through a dual-clutch setup to a full-time AWD system with an active center differential. Launching in the UK in April, the Dulux PaintPod(April 2008; GBP 70; about $140) allows you to roll on paint without dripping or spilling. The roller is attached to the vacuum-like device via a tube and is fed paint automatically. Fill it with water when you’re done, and it cleans itself for you in just 10 minutes. It does require its own 5-litre paint packs. You’ll have to use Dulux’s specialized pods of paint, and for now it’s only available in the UK for around £ 70 ($135) for the unit and £ 20-30 ($40-60) for the paint.

The Nikon D3 was announced in August and it took a while for the $5000 camera to hit the market. Now it is out and a bunch of reviews has popped up. It looks like Nikon delivers according to plan. Here is a couple of reviews if you want all the details:
