Here’s Polaroid PoGo, a pocket-sized and inkless digital printer able to print 2″x3″ borderless photos. You can either connect it wirelessly through Bluetooth or via USB/PictBridge, allowing you to print from both cell phones and digital cameras. The backsides of the smudge-proof and water resistant photos can be peeled off too, making the photos into stickers.

“The full-color digital photos are created without ink cartridges or ribbons using ZINK Photo Paper™, keeping the printer to about the size of a deck of cards. The paper is a durable material that contains colorless cyan, yellow and magenta dye crystals. Heat activation brings photos to life, colorizing ZINK™ dye crystals, so digital photos can be shared instantly.”

The PoGo will start selling at Best Buy on July 6th for about $149.00.

Those of you who know me know that I have a thing for jumping photos. I love being in them and I love taking photos of jumping people. I have no idea why I have such a fascination with them especially since most of the time they require almost zero effort to take. I guess I just like how each jumping photograph can capture so much energy and expression in one shot.

Anyway, the Hyper series by French photographer Denis Darzacq is just awesome.

That is crazy! It is a concept from Toyota called the Aygo Crazy. Crazy is powered bt turbocharged 1.8L VVT-i engine with an output of 240 DIH hp and 240 Nm of torque. Crazy is customized with a custom-made body, 17-inch alloys and beefy Goodyear 225/45 rubber.

Crazy weighs 1,050kg and Crazy is capable of 127mph (est), but speed is not its defining quality: this is a machine that exists to be responsive and alive to the driver’s commands.

Getty Images has recently launched an interactive “brainstorming tool” called Moodstream. The site cycles through photos, videos and music using their huge cache of media as source material. Getty has created a tool for creative professionals (or everyone else) to find fresh inspiration. The control panel has sliders to adjust the mood and tone of the media; happy to sad, warm to cool.

Alright, remember the DVD Sniffler Dogs in Malaysia? The dogs that have been trained to sniff out pirated discs. One of them which called Manny has been found dead in the undisclosed location where it was kept, a report said Sunday. Manny’s body was sent to University Putra Malaysia for a post-mortem. “He had not started work yet so I doubt that there was anyone who wanted to harm him,” said Roslan Mahayuddin, the enforcement director of the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry.

“Paddy and Manny, donated by the US-based Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), began work in April after spending some time getting used to the climate.

The MPAA had reportedly spent 74,500 ringgit (23,280 dollars) to buy the dogs from Northern Ireland. The dogs are trained to freeze or sit down when they detect polycarbonate and other chemicals used in manufacturing optical discs.”
