Misericordia is a French clothing brand that places sustainable development at the heart of its process : the whole team (27 people) is based in Lima (Peru). Misericordia’s style is trendy, colourful and urban.
There’s a German artist built a life-sized paper boat and plans to sail for 40days before it eventually disintegrates. The artist came with this idea one breakfast time when he was sitting at his kitchen table playing with an empty milk carton which he cut up and made into a scaled-down model. The paper boat that he sailing measures 30 feet long, weighs 55 pounds, uses a 170-square-metre piece of Tetrapack paper. It took only two hours to construct.

A life-long smoker, Winnie Langley just celebrated her 100th birthday by smoking her 170,000th cigarette!
Winnie Langley started smoking only days after the First World War broke out in June 1914 when she was just seven-years-old – and has got through five a day ever since.
She has no intention of quitting, even after the nationwide ban forced tobacco-lovers outside.
Speaking at her 100th birthday party Winnie said: “I have smoked ever since infant school and I have never thought about quitting.

Sixteen-year-old schoolboy Tom Wood spent just over 30 minutes to crack the Australian government’s new $84 million Internet porn filter:
A former cyber bullying victim, Tom feared a computer-savvy child could work out the bypass and put it on the Internet for others to use.
Tom, who spoke to Communications Minister Helen Coonan about cyber safety during a forum in May, said the Federal Government should have developed a better Australian made filter.
“It’s a horrible waste of money,” he said.
“They could get a much better filter for a few million dollars made here rather than paying overseas companies for an ineffective one.”

Nokia has released their new 3G mobile phone today, the 6555. Nokia 6555 is the first WCDMA phone with a smooth-back fold design. It has a QVGA 16 million color internal display on a large 240×320 screen, 30MB internal memory, microSD slot, Bluetooth and the self-portrait and video sharing camera. The Nokia 6555 will be available next month with an estimated retail price of Euro 200 excluding tax and subsidies.

The 2008 Honda Accord will be available in coupe or sedan. Among them are the LX, LX Premium (sedan only), LX Sport (coupe only), EX and EX-L, and the EX V6 trims. There are three basic engines available. One of them will be a 3.5L iVTEC V6 that produces 273 horsepower and 250 ft-lbs. of torque while the other two will be the 2.4L inline-four producing 200 horsepower/170 ft-lbs and another 2.4L producing 180 horsepower/166 ft-lbs.
